Alexa and James’ Hamptons wedding, New York, was a joyous celebration that every wedding photographer dreams of capturing. It was a heartwarming family gathering at a magnificent private estate, featuring a stunning beachfront setting, delightful weather, and delicious dishes prepared by one of Montauk’s finest chefs. As we arrived at the charming oceanfront property, we were welcomed by the most charming vintage bikes adorned with “Just Married” signs, inviting us to snap an adorable photo of the couple. Little did we know, this was just a preview of the wonderful details that awaited us, each more captivating than the last.
After exchanging cheerful greetings inside the house, we enthusiastically made our way outside to appreciate the stunning Hamptons wedding ceremony set-up on the beach. Lively flowers, elegant chairs, cozy pillows, and charming throws decorated the glistening white sand, while the Atlantic Ocean and sky formed a breathtaking backdrop brushed in the softest pale blue. Inside the house, Alexa delighted in the joy of getting dressed in a truly magnificent room within this architectural wonder. The floor-to-ceiling windows and perfect lighting offered a wonderful space to capture the joyous moments of this radiant bride. Her closest friends joyfully helped with the final touches as we gave her a few precious moments to relax before the Hamptons ceremony. With a beaming smile, as Alexa adjusted her shoe one last time, Rebeca snapped a lovely photo peeking through the door, highlighting everything that makes this extraordinary home so captivating.
While Alexa was upstairs finalizing her look, James was downstairs greeting their guests, who were mingling and enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by the breathtaking inside/outside infinity pool. Although it was a small family affair, the guest list was impressively diverse, with friends and family traveling in from New York, Michigan, and even as far as South America, each eager to celebrate this special Hamptons wedding occasion. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and chatter, as guests reminisced and shared stories, creating a warm and festive vibe. We captured a few candid photos of James as he lovingly prepared for the ceremony, his smile widening with each passing moment. As the last of their guests filed out, he took a deep breath, put on his stylish sunglasses, kicked off his shoes, and made his way up the soft sand to meet his beautiful bride, the sun setting behind them, casting a golden glow over the precious moment they were about to share.
As Alexa’s bridesmaids filed out of the top floor room they made their way down a beautiful outdoor staircase. What a gorgeous shot it was seeing them all in one frame as they paved the way for Alexa to make her way down. When she turned the corner she looked out at the horizon, took a deep breath and smiled. Everything was perfect for the Hamptons wedding. She gently walked down the stairs and towards the entrance to the private beach. We followed her up the ramp, across the sand for some amazing candid moments and a perfect photo of her veil blowing in the wind.
As the bridesmaids made their way down to the beachfront setting we couldn’t help but notice how perfect this setting was for a Hamptons wedding. The 25 guests and dozen others on FACETIME filled the setting with excitement. As James waited barefoot in the sand for his bride to appear we shot some last minute photos of Alexa walking up the final steps of the ramp as she looked at the ocean in the distance.
As she made her entrance everything was beautiful! Just the perfect photo op. This beautiful bride walking through the sand on the perfect beach. The pale blue sky, the soft blue water and gentle ocean breeze gave us all the feeling like we were in a romantic movie. They exchanged vows at their Hamptons wedding with only the sound of the ocean behind them. Alexa and James gazed into each other’s eyes, held each other’s hands and promised to always celebrate their life together. They said “I Do” and gathered their friends and families for some family photos along the ocean.
As the sun was setting we took some stunning portraits along the Hamptons beach. With only a few minutes to spare we were able to work magic. They smiled, danced in the sand and took a walk along water as the sun set to the most beautiful pink.
When we all got back to the house it was time for cocktails on the rooftop terrace. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous as the fire pits warmed us all up. There were a couple of toasts and a heart-felt speech from the groom’s mother before dinner. The chef prepared a table of seasonal food that each guest was absolutely raving about at this Hamptons wedding.
The outdoor table at the Hamptons wedding was elegantly adorned with beautiful linens, intricate flatware, and exquisite glassware that complemented all this delicious food and Dom Perignon Champagne perfectly, creating a breathtaking visual display under the twinkling stars. The ambient glow of soft lighting mingled with the laughter of guests as they savored each mouthful of culinary delight. After dinner, the chef thoughtfully laid out an array of decadent desserts, ranging from rich chocolate tarts to velvety panna cotta, accompanied by a stunning classic wedding cake that stood tall with its intricate frosting and delicate decorations, inviting everyone to indulge in these sweet finales.
In their elegant Hamptons home, adorned with sleek modern decor, the couple shared a moment of pure joy as they stood before a beautifully designed wedding cake, glistening with intricate fondant details. Surrounded by soft hues of white and gold, they smiled at each other, the warmth of their love glowing brighter than the polished surfaces around them. As the soft melody of a string quartet played in the background, they gently cut the Hamptons wedding cake together, the smooth, creamy layers revealing bursts of pastel colors within.
